Community Service Worker

With Evergreen College’s Community Service Worker Diploma Program, you’ll gain the skills and training required to build relationships with, and provide support to, the most vulnerable members of the community.
You’ll build your understanding of multicultural backgrounds, disabilities, gender, sexual orientation, family issues and substance abuse to become a powerful advocate to all members of the community. You’ll develop the organizational and communication skills required to handle the requests for help, including determining eligibility for health programs, counselling on child care and helping clients with physical, mental and/or substance abuse issues.
